Presence, Not Presentation
Presence is a funny thing. The people that have it can’t seem to explain it, and the people that don’t seem to think it’s impossible. Presentation advice, on the other hand, is ten a penny. You can scroll through any respectable business column and find dozens of articles on ’10 Ways To Kick The Ass Of Your Next Presentation’, and ‘The One Thing Great Presenters Eat For Breakfast’.
At Elocution Lessons London, we believe that a great presentation comes from great presence. You can have the best powerpoint in the world, but if you don’t have presence, you won’t get anywhere.
From training actors (East 15, Guildford School of Acting), TV presenters (Sky, ITV), authors (Penguin) executives (KPMG, EY, Accenture, Time Warner) and prospective politicians, we know that only a method that is practical can make you a great presenter. Some presentation coaches will work from the inside out, tweaking your content and slides to suit your style. At Elocution Lessons London, we work from the outside in, training your presence to match up to the message you want to portray.
